Well in my personal opinion I believe that had Brandon weeden been younger he would have been a much better prospect.revered even but the distinction between him and Tannehill isn't that far off now. I still believe Weeden will be this years Andy Dalton if he's placed in the right system and I feel Tannehill is indeed a 1st round talent but given the fact he's inexperienced he's not pro ready but giving his attributes he has alot of upside.
As I see it if the right teams pick them up I can see successful careers for them both. However Weeden is clearly the better prospect because even though his age is a factor it plays as one of his attributes because he can come in and push a younger guy or he could help groom or give a team time to find the right Qb for there team.
If all goes as I believe it will: the brown's are going to act like there truly into Tannehill to see if they can aquire a Griffinesque deal or at least something that tickles there fancy but they will select Trent Richardson with there 1st unless some team is willing to take a gamble maybe Miami and if that's the case pending on what spot they fall to I can see them possibly addressing the right tackle spot with maybe Jonathan Martin or If there trading partner is Miami they still will choose Richardson because he still will be available at the 8th overall pick. So regardless the brown's will choose Richardson. Then I believe the will choose Kendall Wright or possibly Jonathan Martin if he happens to fall.
So what that all means is that the Brown's will select Brandon weeden in the second round.
Therefore back to the argument at hand by the draft you could say Tannehill is better because he's going to go higher than Weeden but to me Weedens just better.
Also by getting Weeden the brown's get someone who can step in and either push Colt McCoy to his full potential or simply out of the Brown's front door it also allows the brown's to further build talent around whoever there QB is making a solid franchise for the next 10 years.
If the brown's however pass on Weeden I can see them picking up a guy who they can mold to be there guy while Colt McCoy still starts such as Russell Wilson or Brock osweiller.
Leaving Weeden in my personal opinion to be picked up by some shockers such as the chiefs, the ravens (because flacco is not a top 5 QB and should not be paid like one despite his belief that he is) and pretty much any team who missed out on the Peyton Manning debacle.
As for Tannehill I see him being a dolphin no ifs and buts about it because Miami missed out on every QB this off season lol and the dolphins have Mike sherman who knows Tannehill well enough to install a Playbook Tannehill could play with on opening day of the season and if not he could sit behind Matt Moore for a season or two and Miami has no pressing needs to take anyone at 8th overall besides maybe Riley Reiff or Jonathan Martin or even the widwout Floyd.
These are all my personal opinions
